Starlit Canvas was inspired by the beauty of the night sky. When laying in a dark field at night, waiting to see a constellation high above. Hoping to find the best spot to see the stars bloom fully and brightly across the sky. 

As someone who loves journaling, planning, and being free and messy with creativity, I wanted to create a pen that feels like more than just a writing instrument. I wanted it to feel like a small piece of inspiration you reach for when you’re mapping out your thoughts, dreams, and next big idea.

If you know me, you know I love all things purple. I wanted to reflect the deep purple of the night, swirled with a variety of colors against the clouds and stars. Purple skies carry both depth and imagination, so I leaned into a palette of rich violets, deep blues, and luminous magentas to create a design that feels cosmic, expressive, and a little magical. The sparkly finish captures that feeling of looking up at a night sky that seems to shimmer with possibility, where every color feels alive with motion and light.

I chose the Nahvalur Horizon model because its smooth, flowing shape mirrors the waves and curves of stars moving across the sky. The silhouette feels elegant and organic, which makes it the perfect foundation for a design inspired by celestial movement. For me, it reflects the same balance I look for in journaling and planning, structure with room for creativity, beauty with purpose, and a sense of calm wrapped in wonder.

Dreams at Dusk Ink

Dreams at Dusk began with my love of the night sky, when you’re filled with that quiet, expansive feeling you get when you look up and imagine everything beyond what you can see. I was inspired by the universe, by the beauty of stars scattered across the darkness, and by the way dusk feels like a threshold between the real world and the dream world. It’s in that in-between moment, when the sky deepens and your thoughts start to wander, that ideas, memories, and dreams seem to shimmer to life.

I wanted this ink to capture that feeling: the wonder of exploring the universe, the stillness of twilight, and the imaginative place your mind goes when the day fades and the stars begin to appear. With its rich purple tones and luminous shimmer, Dreams at Dusk feels like writing beneath a starlit sky.
