"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."

— H. P. Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu

Inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu, this fountain pen draws upon the haunting romance of the unknown, the fragile boundary between what we understand and what lies beyond our imagination.

I find this same sentiment in my adopted home of Davao City, on the island of Mindanao, where ancient mountains disappear into veils of mist, forests whisper stories older than memory, and dark rivers wind their way toward the infinity of the open ocean. Here, mystery has always been part of the land's quiet beauty. Beauty is not always found in revelation, but in the things that remain unseen, untold, and wonderfully beyond our grasp.

Cthulhu is an ode to that mystery.

Not merely to the darkness imagined by Lovecraft, but to the daring act of standing at the edge of the unfamiliar and gazing into the infinite. To the courage of curiosity, the humility of not knowing, and the quiet fascination with a world that refuses to surrender all its secrets.

For those who find poetry in shadows, beauty in the unfamiliar, and endless possibilities on the unwritten page.

May this pen be your companion in the journey beyond the familiar.
