Pennonia × @nibsandflourishes Garden Delights Ink Set (30ml)

The Garden Delights ink set is inspired by a few of my favorite flowers in my garden.

Dahlias are the divas of the late summer garden all the way through to the first frost. Though dahlias come in many forms and colors, the dahlias that inspired the pen and the ink bloom in all the colors of the sunset. The ones I grow have evocative names like ‘Labyrinth' and 'Belle of Barmera.' They are huge, and often have slightly twisty petals, and each bloom is a slightly different combination of colors. The drama they create in the garden is unmatched. I chose a peachy tone for the ink that evokes the warmth of a dahlia in the morning light in the garden, and which also goes well with my new Dahlia pen.

Siberian Iris was inspired by the irises that bloom all over my garden in late spring - spots of vibrant purple on graceful, slender stems. Like most purple inks, Siberian Iris works well with my Leonardo Fioritura Viola pen. They are a gorgeous complement to the peonies and roses that bloom around the same time.

Autumn Aster is a multi-shading periwinkle ink inspired by the tiny, star-like asters that bloom in a periwinkle cloud in the fall. I adore them because periwinkle hues are unusual that time of year, a spot of cool color amongst the golds and oranges and reds of autumn.
