Growing up, Halloween was always something I watched from afar — the costumes, the candy, the mysterious thrill of Trick or Treating — it was never a tradition I experienced firsthand. So, when I was asked to design a Halloween-themed pen, I found myself in unfamiliar territory. Without personal memories to draw from, I knew I had to create something that felt true to the spirit of Halloween, but in my own way.
Rather than leaning fully into the spooky or the overly cute, I wanted to reimagine the holiday through a different lens — one filled with charm, a touch of mischief, and a cast of unexpected characters. That’s how the boo-tiful bunch was born: a quirky, diverse crew of animals dressed in their Halloween best. There’s the mysterious Spider, the curious Caterpillar, the watchful Crow, and of course, the iconic Black Cat. Each one brings its own personality to the scene, turning this Halloween into a celebration of imagination and playful spirit.
