How did you fall down the rabbit hole of fountain pens and stationery? AKA, the moment that made you fall in love with writing tools and supplies.
As someone who grew up surrounded by trinkets and pens and crafting items, I am completely drawn to analogue and art at a young age. And then on one of my drawers, I discovered my Tita’s (aunt’s) old Parker 45 pen and I was enamoured by the “vintage” look of it.

It was years later I discovered micahfinds’ IG and I was completely and irrevocably PENABLED. 😭😂

I went on and ogled at her photos and formed my own “what-could-be”s.

And so I bought my first Parker Quink in blue black. And I never looked back.

What do you do for work? Is there any way this hobby is intermingled with your work?
I’m in Marketing — and worked for EndlessPens as their marketing girly for a little while where there is a complete marry between work and pens. I lived and breathed fountain pens for almost 2 years and it’s a story in my life I will always look back on and have good memories of.

What else are you in to that you would like to share with people to better know you?
I LOVE STATIONERY.

Goodness, I considered myself a meatball of madness for quite some time now because my hobby is being a hobbyist. Lol

I have hoards of washi tapes, ephemera for junk journaling, I paint with watercolor or acrylic (i’ve tried oil as well, I think I was in love with it for a while) and I used to paint on my clothes!!!

There was also a period in life where I did candle-making. I’m also into Tarot and Oracle reading, all that witchy stuff. I collect stamps, I am an avid enjoyer of Postcrossing and Snail Mail in general (yeah, keep the #SnailMailRevolution alive!!)

Another big part of me is that I devour books. There was a year where I read around 65 of them #nogregrets and I very well had my formative years as a member of Fandom Twitter (I know you Hunger Game girlies are screaming crying about Sunrise on the Reaping right now).

Everything that I do, I either listen to funny podcasts (Dogshow Divas) or listen to our Pop Girlies on repeat (Hello, Billie Eilish and Chapell Roan gays).

What words/quote would you like to share to other aspiring creatives?
Waste that art material. Use that cute sticker. Empty that paint tube. Stick that junk into your journal.

Life is a multitude of colors, don’t hold back. There’s space for everyone.

What do you believe is the best starter fountain pen? Where should people start?

Oh boy. A TWSBI Eco in Cement Gray/Pastel Pink inked with Sailor Ink Studio 873. Perfection.
