How did you fall down the rabbit hole of fountain pens and stationery? AKA, the moment that made you fall in love with writing tools and supplies.
They say third is the charm and that rings true for my falling in love with fountain pens. A friend kept saying I should try them as we was sure I would love them and after a couple of years I finally did, to her relief. I disliked my first, I disliked my second, but on the third go I was hooked. And here I am 8 years later.
What do you do for work? Is there any way this hobby is intermingled with your work?
No, my job is very physically demanding and there would never be any time to have a minute with a notebook and pen. At my last job I worked in an office by myself and could use a pen for several things if I wanted so I miss that.
What else are you in to that you would like to share with people to better know you?
I like reading for pleasure and entertainment ever since I was a little girl. These days I mainly do audiobooks. It allows be to go through more books since I can listen while doing other things like when on my way to or from work, folding laundry and playing with inks

What do you believe is the best starter fountain pen? Where should people start?
It's all so individual depending on the person's hand and grip, but I would say Kaweco. Sport is still a budget friendly pen, AL Sport if you're willing to invest a little bit more and want something a little heavier. It's a great pen to start with and if you like it then it's a great pen to collect multiple colors of.
What's your go-to pen and ink combo?
Nahvalur. Any in the Nautilus and Voyage shape. It's a great pen I reach for often pairing with whatever ink I feel like at the moment.
