Their Ink Story
Wearingeul is a relatively new name when it comes to fountain pen inks, calligraphy inks, and other ink supplies. But despite their young history, Wearingeul is definitely finding its way into the homes of writers, artists, and other creatives. It may be no surprise if you own a bottle yourself or you’ve seen them around in stores or online.

Their ink story began in 2018, when they first launched as a small brand. With the company’s core philosophy about expression, using impactful stories was Wearingeul’s starting point. Wearingeul’s first two collections expressed the brand’s connection to literature through their Yun Dong-ju Inks and Yi-sang Inks. These are both a unique ink series inspired by the voice of the most loved Korean poets. These included The Sky Seasons Passing By, A Star Spattered Hill, Stars in Autumn, Shoot the Moon, Architecture Cube, 13 Children, Me in the Mirror, Taxidermied Genius, and Soyoungwije Inks.
Each bottle is a captivating translation of the emotions and imagery of Korean literature into fascinating ink colors. Customers raved about this primary lineup of inks, which made an impact as it slowly carried Wearingeul inks out from its first store via word of mouth. Reviews from satisfied customers described the inks as easy flowing, with a wide spectrum of color ranging from delicate too intense that allowed for all different kinds of gorgeous shading.
More Ink Swatches
Wearingeul continued to tap into the layers and depths of different myths, fairy tales, and world literature which they used to further expand their collection of inks. As the creative minds behind the brand continued to develop other products, they’ve also found inspiration in other mediums such as artworks and music. Their designs and concepts were boundless.
The unique concept and approach of transforming literature into inks became the hallmark of the brand. Wearingeul aspires and invites you to “Visualize the invisible.” Through understanding their vision, Wearingeul integrated modern design with originality and creativity to evoke feelings and capture the senses through their inks.

As the brand continued to grow in popularity, it gained international recognition as customers around the world began looking for Wearingeul Inks. Soon enough, Wearingeul Inks found its way to authorized global retailers online.
