Here's a little throwback of our Japan trip some years ago when we visited Fushimi Inari Taisha — beautiful, serene, and magical. A Shinto Shrine in Kyoto, dedicated to Inari (the Shinto God of Rice, believed to have fox messengers). There are thousands of these gates leading into the forest of sacred Mt. Inari.
This trip is one of the experiences that I hold so close to my heart. I visited this temple with my father, my mother, and the love of my life. It's one of those memories that has thankfully remained vivid in my mind. Whenever I am feeling overwhelmed, this memory is definitely something I go back to.
I can still see the light of the sun filtering through the gates, hear the quiet footsteps, and the soft chirping of birds — I look forward to going back someday!

Fushimi Inari Taisha features a blank designed by micahfinds, produced by Tailored Pen Company on their Churchill model. It is similar to the Westminster with the main difference being that the body and the cap transition smoothly with no difference in size. The ends are more tapered and angle to a point. The stainless steel nib features a fox artwork engraving.
