Limited and numbered to just 1,500 pieces worldwide, the #3776 CENTURY Fuji Unkei “Unkai” captures the breathtaking beauty of a sea of clouds surrounding Mt. Fuji during the quiet early morning hours.

Serving as the concluding chapter of the Fuji Unkei series, “Unkai” features an incredible combination of transparent resin, intricate lens-cut faceting, engraved detailing, and Platinum’s first-ever bicolor #3776 design aesthetic introduced within the Fuji Unkei collection. As light moves across the barrel, the pen recreates the shimmering layers of clouds drifting around Mt. Fuji at sunrise, creating a truly dynamic visual effect in hand.

The cap and grip colors were specifically selected to evoke Mt. Fuji’s mountainside illuminated by the rising autumn and winter sun, while the barrel’s layered carvings and transparent construction reflect the flowing depth and movement of the cloud formations themselves.

To commemorate the release, each pen also includes a special 20ml bottle of “Fuji-no-Ebizome” ink, inspired by the grape-red twilight hues that appear across Mt. Fuji as daylight fades into evening. Depending on lighting and paper, the ink reveals subtle shifts between reddish-purple and green undertones, making it a perfect companion to the pen itself.
