Description
The very first do-it-yourself Peg and Awl product! In the spirit of handmade wares and near-forgotten craft, the bookbinding kit not only offers a journal to fill with words and scribblings, but also teaches the art of hand-bound bookbinding.
The style of this book was influenced by Anselm Kiefer and his book Transition from Cool to Warm. It includes beautiful uncovered books that, in addition to housing extraordinary paintings, also show – with dirt and bendy corners – all of the love and travels his books endured.
Understanding the sewing process of bookbinding is the first step in making a sound book.
