As an architect, illustrator, and professor, Kim Kiyeon is passionate about connecting the structural world of architecture and the emotional realm of illustration. When Bounshi invited him to design a watch, he was hesitant—until he realized it was more than a product. It was a chance to tell a meaningful story.
The brand first discovered Kiyeon through his warm, expressive cat illustrations on social media. Inspired by the quiet friendship between a cat and a dog, the watch symbolizes trust, connection, and companionship that transcends words. “I wanted to create something simple but emotionally powerful,” Kiyeon shares. “Not just how it looks—but how it makes you feel.”
Every element reflects that vision—from the clean, minimal design and premium materials to the illustrated, eco-conscious packaging made to be kept and cherished. “Even the box tells part of the story,” he says.
Kiyeon is proud to introduce a watch made with such sincerity and emotion—one that quietly reflects the warmth behind its design, and invites wearers to feel it, too.
