The East has always held a particular fascination: a world where art, symbolism and craftsmanship come together in a language of their own. It is a place of contrasts — of shadow and light, movement and stillness, geometry and organic form. Orient was born from this fascination.

At the heart of the Orient is the idea of “the curve in its own tension” — a form deeply rooted in the visual language of Eastern art. Its flowing silhouette moves naturally along the length of the pen, while sharp, deliberate cuts at either end bring balance and definition to the organic curve.

For this new interpretation of Orient, we wanted to take that idea further.

The body is crafted from Bohemian by Jonathan Brooks, a distinctive material in which deep, earthy tones meet flashes of luminous colour. Like a fragment of an ancient landscape illuminated by the morning sun, every section reveals a different movement of colour and light. No two pens can ever tell exactly the same visual story.

The transformation continues with the newly designed Orient body band. Flowing waves embrace the band, accompanied by the ancient Latin motto “Ex Oriente Lux.” The waves evoke the perpetual movement of Eastern ornament and the ever-changing relationship between light and shadow. This distinctive band design will now become a standard signature element of the Orient model.

For this Exclusive Edition, we have chosen an antique bronze finish, giving the metalwork a warm, aged character that complements the rich depth of the Bohemian material.

This edition is limited to 100 pieces. It is not individually numbered, but once these 100 pens are gone, this particular combination of material and finish will no longer be produced.

The Orient will continue to evolve. In its next interpretation, the model will introduce platinum-plated metalwork, offering a distinctly brighter and more contemporary expression of the same enduring design language.
