Introducing the Quark, a pocket fountain pen that combines compact convenience with exceptional performance. Machined entirely from durable 6061-T651 aluminum (cap/section/barrel) and anodized with a bead blasting finish. Shamrock Green and Orange is part of the 2025 release which brings the ACME threads for capping and posting, combined with a matching green color section.
Designed to be the smallest pen of its kind, the Quark transforms into a full-sized writing instrument when posted. Its lightweight construction and ergonomically balanced section provide a comfortable and effortless writing experience regardless if its used for quick notes or extended sessions of writing.
With triple-start ACME cap threads, the Quark’s nib is revealed with just 0.5 turns, and the cap securely threads onto the back in only 2 turns when posted. The 22mm-long section, tapering from 9.85mm to 9.0mm, is precisely engineered from aluminum featuring micro-machined grooves and a bead-blasted finish for optimal grip.
Fitted with a Gravitas-produced size 6 steel nib, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads and an ABS plastic feeder, the Quark offers a range of nib options including Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
*when swapping for a different nib unit you are sole responsible for checking the fitment of the new nib - we are not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of non gravitas nibs/nib units.
Gravitas Quark series is ideal used with a standard international ink cartridge and for aluminum versions is not recommended to be eyedropper converted.
