Dinkey is our most refined pocket fountain pen to date. Designed for perfect balance and ease of use, this fountain pen features a friction-fit cap that ensures a scratch-free finish. The cap utilizes double acme threads, allowing it to be removed with just 2 turns, and is lined with Delrin for a smooth turning action.
Dinkey Carbon X is using unidirectional carbon fiber and obtains a unique scale* structure due to its tapering shape towards the ends. The material is left untreated and exposed, boasting a smooth-satin texture. For balance, the section is crafted from stainless steel and enhanced with micro-machined circular grooves to ensure a secure and comfortable grip.
*Due to the complexity in assembly, each pen displays a unique and random pattern. we aim to offer with each Dinkey Carbon X an aligned pattern (small inconsistency may be visible with each piece, and this is due to limitations of the materials and assembly process)
Dinkey Carbon is designed to function only as an eyedropper filler, having its cap and barrel lined with delrin to contain the ink sealed inside the pen. For optimal performance, the ink volume should not exceed 1 ml - with each pen you get provided with a 1 ml eyedropper.
Dinkey Carbon X is equipped with our Gravitas steel size 6 nib and paired with an ABS plastic feeder - compatible* with a generic Jowo generic size 6 nib unit, available in the following nib sizes: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
*Please note that only a Gravitas-supplied nib should be used with this pen; other brands may not fit and could be damaged. When swapping for a different nib unit you are sole responsible for checking the fitment of the new nib - we are not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of non gravitas nibs/nib units.
