About the Creative

I'm a dreamer, a seeker, a wordweaver. From thought and emotion, I create landscapes and beings with fountain pen, ink, and mortal hands.

I believe that every person holds that creative spark, with the boundless potential to ignite inspiration in others.

Interview with @lekzumali

How did you fall down the rabbit hole of fountain pens and stationery? AKA, the moment that made you fall in love with writing tools and supplies.
I first became drawn to fountain pens through self-studying different media for sketching and writing. I enjoyed how fountain pen inks behaved similarly to watercolours. I liked how fountain pen nibs felt on paper. And how fountain-pen friendly paper itself showcased inks' different qualities like shading and sheen.

What do you do for work? Is there any way this hobby is intermingled with your work?
I'm a writer and sketcher. I've been part of a team writing about fountain pens, art, and creativity. I'm grateful for that experience.

What else are you in to that you would like to share with people to better know you?
I also find joy in cooking and leather-crafting. Making useful things with my own hands feels personally fulfilling.

What words/quote would you like to share to other aspiring creatives?
Trust your own process.

What do you believe is the best starter fountain pen? Where should people start?
A Platinum Preppy is an affordable, reliable starter pen. As well as a Pilot Prera or a Lamy. I don't feel like there's just one 'best' starter because people have different tastes and pen budgets as well.

What's your go-to pen and ink combo?
A vintage Platinum P66-100 14K EF nib and Platinum Carbon Black

What's your favorite color? :)
Grey🩶
