Autumn is a beautiful season signaling change. The time of harvest is also a chance to prepare for the upcoming winter. It’s when vibrant greens turn into warmer colors while air that blows becomes cooler. It evokes a comforting visual and a curious mix of hues that brings the wonder and magic of the season.
As for the artist, @gabbitries, she shares how Autumn caught her attention and inspired her to come up with the idea for two wonderful ink colors.
“Coming from a tropical country where we only have two seasons — wet and dry — I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of the four seasons. Among them, autumn has always stood out to me.
Autumn, in particular, draws me in because of its cozy, introspective, mysterious and nostalgic charm. When I picture autumn, I see two contrasting sides: the bright Autumn, with its yellows and orange hues and the mysterious red and green hues, leaves blanketing the road.”
So with @gabbitries’ vision and through HATCH, we were able to have the opportunity to collaborate and tap into the expertise of Van Dieman’s.
