Don’t let the name fool you, Monster isn’t some oversized, unwieldy fountain pen. In fact, it’s built on the well-proportioned shape of the original Vac, a design that won our writing instruments enthusiasts. Every line, curve, and contour of the Monster has been deliberately refined. From its silhouette to its balance, this fountain pen is the result of obsessive attention to proportion and purpose.

To ensure an exceptional writing experience, the Monster has been engineered with precision weight reduction and crafted from premium materials like Aluminum (anodized - bead blasted), Optical Grade Acrylic and 304 Stainless Steel. The result? A writing instrument that feels substantial yet balanced, robust without being burdensome. The Monster is featuring a inner Delrin cap sleeve which allows for a smooth posting and a smooth feel in capping and uncapping.

At the heart of this creation lies the Kraken Filling System, a revolutionary filling mechanism inspired by mechanical heart valves. Designed by Ben Walsh, this filling system is new to anything else in the industry. While researching shut-off valves for retractable pens, Ben turned to medical devices for answers. What he found was a beautifully simple yet highly effective sealing solution. That concept evolved into the Kraken Filling System, a system that’s closer to a mechanical heart valve than a traditional Vacuumatic filling system. What makes the Kraken Filling System brilliant are the following :
- efficient design that gives the Monster a outstanding 7ml ink capacity at full load
- use of specialized quad ring (specifically made for sealing and due to its shape it retains lubricant in between points of contact ensuring constant lubrication and improved seal) 
- due to its precision machining the system offers high efficiency in filling translating to a large volume of ink even with a single plunge 

The writing point of the Monster is a Size 8 steel nib - paired with an ebonite feeder - available in 4 sizes : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. The Monster Teal and Silver are offered with a silver color nib and Black comes with a Black color nib. The section of the Monster can be unscrewed to allow for the pen to be cleaned and for the filling system to be greased and maintained. 

Monster Teal - Silver - Black are part of an initial 1000 pcs batch that is numbered. Each pen is delivered in a zipper carry case.
