What is HATCH?
The beginnings of HATCH come from a problem that the EndlessPens team wanted to solve. Initially, our Creative Team was confronted with a lack of opportunity and funding. But because we believe in investing in artists, we came up with a way to connect them with ways to make their vision come to life. Whether they were looking for a manufacturer or needed other resources to make their creative dreams a reality, our Creatives could count on HATCH.
HATCH is all about what its name implies: hatching new ideas to produce one-of-a-kind fountain pen and stationery creations. It was born from the desire to turn our creatives’ ideas and aspirations into real-world creations.
How Does HATCH Work?

HATCH has two essential parts. The first is the role of the Creative, which is to conceptualize and design the creation they want to bring to life. They are in charge of designing the artwork for the product and approving the specs. Design revisions are naturally part of the process, so our Creatives also work on this together with the Supplier’s required specifications.
EndlessPens takes charge of various aspects of the process of realizing the Creative’s design. We start by funding the entire project as well as finding and negotiating with brands. When everybody is happy with the design of the pen or stationery item, EndlessPens oversees production to ensure exact specifications are met.
The marketing process is also very collaborative in nature. Creatives create content for their pen, promotional media, Sneak Peaks, and so much more. While EndlessPens facilitates the entire procedure, our Creatives are at the helm of marketing and promotions. We also work to ensure that selling and distributing the product go smoothly. Lastly, we ensure that customers are happy with the fountain pen or stationery item that they receive.
The Creative can then benefit through a Creative Fee for their HATCH creation with EndlessPens.
In our experience working with multiple Creatives, we have found that reach and exposure are collaborative efforts that have proven mutually beneficial. HATCH releases are promoted on platforms such as Instagram, but both the Creative and the brand they worked with also benefit from EndlessPens’ Newsletter, Website, YouTube channel, and exposure to our existing global customer base.
The Beginnings of HATCH

HATCH naturally started with fountain pen collaborations. In this joint effort, we oversee the ideation and design mock-ups up to the final rendering, production, and marketing, as well as the distribution and aftersales.
Later on, after a few successful collaborations between Creatives and Brands for original fountain pen designs, we decided to move into the production of washi tapes and stickers.
