The octagonal shape on the cap recalls the Globe Theatre in London - The William Shakespeare Theatre. The black and white colors of the writing instrument are inspired by the different flags of the theater, which indicated the genre of the play: white for comedy, black for tragedy. The structure of the barrel is inspired by his Quill pen and the cone ring is dedicated to the elements of each major play - "Hamlet", "Romeo & Juliet", "Henry V" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The clip together with the ring is inspired by Shakespeare's signature earring and the Au 750 solid gold nib is designed from a scene in "Romeo & Juliet". The Writers Edition William Shakespeare is limited to 1597 pieces in reference to his most important play, "The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet", issued in 1597.
